"The Kissing Booth" is a Netflix original, as well as an American teen romantic comedy film,  was written and directed by Vince Marcello, and rated TV-14.

Step Two, Plot Overview:

"The Kissing Booth" starts off with a high school student finds herself face-to-face with her long-term crush when she signs up to run a kissing booth at the spring carnival. This leads to bigger problems with guys and change in herself. Watch "The Kissing Booth" to find out what the carnival is symbolic for!

Step Three, Critiquing in Categories:

• In this Netflix original movie there are some major themes that effected the plot of "The Kissing Booth" The major theme that they portray in this movie is romance. Romance is the feeling of passion or excitement connected to love. This is portrayed when a character named Elle Evans soon falls in love with another character named Noah Flynn after many mishaps with them. This theme is represented when they kiss at a kissing booth and 'sparks fly.'

• The point of view can really effect the movie when it is told in a specific point of view. In "The Kissing Booth" it is told in first person point of view by Noah Flynn as he tells the story through his eyes and gives his outlooks on things.
• Camera angles are something that effects the movie in many ways. I personally think there was good lighting and no major mishaps throughout the movie that I noticed. How the camera moves also effects the lighting because if the movement are choppy it can affect the movie tremendously.
• I  believe that the set helped the movie  tremendously and without it, it could possible be not as good as a movie. The set put together the movie and made it stand out in a good film.
•  Over all the movie was generally a good movie to watch. The movie made people want to keep watching and re-watch it, making it be a high rater movie. I would give this film a 9 out of 10 because although there we not any major mishaps the movie sometimes was confusing to watchers.
